Born in Orange, Larissa was exposed to art from early childhood through her mother, professional artist Loretta Blake. Larissa has studied with some of Australia's award winning artists including Peter Newton, Patrick Carroll, Susan Andrews and Peter Griffin as well as attending the National Art Scholl in Sydney. Larissa was a finalist for the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship in 2003, and won the MvVafe Aquisitive Prize and Packers Prize at the Aspects Art Show, Goondiwind in 2005.

Larissa's vibrant works are inspired by her extensive travels in Europe and Asia and urban environments withan emphasis on colour and its powerful healing effects. Her works are represented in a number of galleries within Australia and in collections in Australia, New Zealand and England. She is sought after as a tutor and is currently residing and painting in Sydney.
