Polly Kimmorley
Polly was born in Dubbo, N.S.W. in 1949 and has lived most of her life on their property in far Western N.S.W. after
selling the property she moved to Dubbo with her husband Gary enjoying life, travelling and painting.
Polly has been painting since early 1980. Inspiration comes from many sources, with the loose style she handles so
well, lends its self to the subjects she selects along with the chosen medium.
Her environment and life is filled with bursts of colour, showing love of the landscape and at the same being very comfortable with still life, which she paints spontaneously.
Winning awards and holding many successful exhibitions have recognized Polly. Her works are represented in rural, regional and metropolitan galleries though out N.S.W. and actively showsin high profile Art Shows.
Her works are represented in collections in Australia and many have found their way international.
Polly's art comes from with in but is inspired by experiences, although she uses both watercolour and acrylic, she
finds watercolour is a medium both elusive and exciting and so the journey continues ...
